NCURA Region III is seeking nominations for the position of:
- Incoming Chair-Elect
- Regionally Elected Board Member
- Treasurer-Elect
Consider nominating yourself or a colleague who may wish to serve as an Officer of NCURA Region III. Learn more about these roles by checking out the position descriptions and the information below!
Nominations should be submitted by email to Ford Simmons at simmonwi@musc.edu on or before August 23, 2024. Self-nominations are welcome and encouraged. Nominees will be contacted for biographical information and to confirm their willingness to serve.
Incoming Chair-Elect (Term Starts January 1, 2025)
-Serves as a member of the Executive Committee when service as Chair-Elect starts
-Serves as the Chair of the program Committee for the Regional Meeting
-Supervises the activities of Standing Committees appointed to the Chair-Elect per the Region’s Organization Chart Plans
-Executes the Regional Annual Meeting
-Other duties as agreed upon
Regionally Elected Board Member (Term Starts January 1, 2025)
-Serves as a non-voting guest of the Executive Committee
-Serves on the Governing Board of the National Council (see description in National NCURA administrative policies)
-Informs region membership of pertinent information from the National Organization
-Other duties as agreed upon
Treasurer-Elect (Term Starts Immediately Following Election)
-Serves as a member of the Executive Committee
-Assists Treasurer with committee activities and annual Regional Meeting fiscal responsibilities as required
-Assists Treasurer with financial reports as needed
