Voting for the 2020 Election has closed and the results are in! We are excited to announce the newest members of our executive committee:
Chair-Elect:
Natasha Williams (Kennesaw State University)
Regionally-Elected Board Member:
David Smelser (University of Tennessee)
David will begin his term January 1st and Natasha will become Chair-Elect at the close of the spring meeting in April 2021.
The Regionally-Elected Board Member serves on NCURA’s National Board of Directors, informs the region membership of pertinent information from the National Organization, and serves on the Region III Executive Committee in an advisory (non-voting) capacity.
The Region III Chair-Elect is responsible for organizing the 2022 NCURA Region III Spring Meeting and providing oversight for Region III Volunteer Services Committees, which include the Volunteer Committee, the Hospitality Committee, and the Attendee Experience Committee.
We would like to extend our thanks to all our candidates. We value each candidate’s commitment and contribution to Region III.
